We are excited to announce a series of upcoming cultural events at OIC Church, intentionally designed to further embrace our multiethnic identity. Our goal is to develop Christ-Centered Cultural Intelligence to redeem, reconcile, and reform cultures. This is the first step in our journey—cultivating cultural awareness.

The Seminar on Hispanic Community Engagement will be led by Alexander Lagos Choquecahua, a professor in the Social Work department at Liberty University. Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Alexander has extensive experience working as a liaison and interpreter for the Hispanic community in Maryland. He also served as a church leader at Ministerios Embajadores del Reino.
