Seminar on Cultural Awareness and Church’s Role in Community Development

We are excited to announce a series of upcoming cultural events at OIC Church, intentionally designed to further embrace our multiethnic identity. Our goal is to develop Christ-Centered Cultural Intelligence to redeem, reconcile, and reform cultures. This is the first step in our journey—cultivating cultural awareness.

The Seminar on Cultural Awareness and Church’s Role in Community Development will be led by Lisa Spencer, Executive Director of Local Colors in Roanoke. With over 25 years of nonprofit experience in human services and community development, Lisa also holds a Master’s in Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary.
