Seminar on African American Culture and Worship Experience

We are excited to announce a series of upcoming cultural events at OIC Church, intentionally designed to further embrace our multiethnic identity. Our goal is to develop Christ-Centered Cultural Intelligence to redeem, reconcile, and reform cultures. This is the first step in our journey—cultivating cultural awareness.

The Seminar on African American Culture and Worship Experience will be led by Dr. Charles Dunning II, pastor of Jericho Baptist Missionary since 1977. Dr. Dunning has also served as the dean of religion, interim president, and instructor at Virginia Seminary and College. He will bring a group of young people to present an African American worship service and join us for fellowship.
